“Market standards for SPA’s and beyond.”

Are M&A lawyers creative enough? It is essential, in M&A transactions, to be familiar with current market standards in order to advise clients about possible negotiating positions and strategies. Therefore, we will present the findings of an M&A survey, which we conducted among a large number of AIJA members. Frequently, however, particular circumstances and problems call for creative thinking. Innovative M&A lawyers will face a lot of situations, where they need to find alternative solutions and compromises. During the working session, the participants will have the opportunity to work in teams to articulate creative solutions that go beyond the standard clauses.
