Aija Runs for Human Rights

 

 

 

Part 1: Short round of 5km

AIJA runs for Human Rights. The 2016 HR Run will start at the Hilton Munich Park. We will directly move into Munich’s green heart, the English Garden with its Chinese Tower. Taking a stop at the Monopteros, we will take a view over the English Garden and Munich’s skyline. We will then reach the Northern parts of Munich’s city centre, passing by the:

1. Bavarian “Staatskanzlei” (seat of the government),
2. the Munich Residence (residence of Bavarian dukes and kings for centuries), with its
3. “Hofgarten” (an Italian style Renaissance garden), and
4. the Odeonsplatz with its representative buildings.
5. After the last stage at Odeonsplatz , we will run back to the hotel.

Part 2: Additional 3km

For those who want to keep running, we head into the English Garden’s Northern part and run around the lake “Kleinhesseloher See” before turning back to the hotel.
